How are Smoothie Fresh Smoothies made?

Using the products supplied by Smoothie Fresh, the smoothies can be made in moments. The required mix of fruits are simply unwrapped and placed in the blender along with the orange juice, apple juice or yoghurt (as preferred). The blender is switched on and once fully blended, the smoothie is poured into the glass and presented to the consumer- it's that easy - as easy as making a cup of tea. It only takes 30 seconds.

Most people understand that fruit and vegetables lose nutritional content over time - especially once they have been cut, squeezed or crushed. However, what the majority do not realise is that this loss occurs within minutes! Therefore, it is vital that the ingredients be as fresh as possible to deliver maximum benefits to the paying customer.

Smoothie Fresh has taken this into account which is why the method of making the smoothies is aimed at maximising freshness and streamlining production time.At Smoothie Fresh, we use freshly picked fruit that has been individually quick frozen (IQF) to maximize storage life while ensuring every ounce of vitamins, minerals and goodness is retained. The IQF product has a shelf life while frozen of over 2 years.

Benefits of the fruits contained in our Smoothies

Bananas – rich in potassium, fibre, vitamins A, C and K.  The carbohydrate in banana provides bags of energy – a wonderful booster and something that kids really go for!

Papaya – packed with beta-carotene, enzymes that help digestion, vitamin C and fibre! (Bet you didn’t know that!)

Mangoes – extremely rich in beta-carotene, packed with minerals such as magnesium.
